Diksharambh, the induction program 26-27 of IIIT Agartala, has taken place on 24th August 2026 marking the beginning of the academic journey of the institute's 26-27 batch.
The programme was graced by distinguished guests, Dr. Vishal Kumar, IAS, DM & Collector, West Tripura, and Ms. Sudhambika R, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Cyber Crime Branch, Agartala and members of the institute, including Mentor Dean (Academic),Director, HOD, Chairman – Innovation & Startup, Chairman – CCD, Scholarship Head, and other faculty members who shared valuable insights and guidance to help the students understand not only academics, but also the opportunities, responsibilities, resources, and experiences that await them at IIIT Agartala.
From guidance on academic life and scholarships to innovation, entrepreneurship, career development, cyber awareness, and student activities, the programme provided the new students with a comprehensive glimpse into their journey ahead.
Adding a vibrant cultural touch to the occasion, talented Cultural Group of the institute captivated everyone with their wonderful musical performances.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by the 1st Year Coordinator, expressing gratitude to all the dignitaries, faculty members, staff, students, and everyone who contributed to making Diksharambh 2026 a memorable beginning.
